Amana ranges read by fuel type at the 30-inch size — the first thing to identify in any Amana range repair. Coil-electric ACR includes the ACR4303MMS, ACR4303MFW, ACR4303MFB, ACR4303MFS and ACR4203MNS; smoothtop AER includes the AER6303MMS, AER6303MFW, AER6303MFB, AER6303MFS and AER6603SFS; and gas AGR includes the AGR6303MMS, AGR6303MMW, AGR6603SMS, AGR6603SFW, AGR4203MNS, AGR4203MNB, AGR4203MNW and AGR4230BAW. The electric oven uses the F#E# code set, while every gas cooktop burner is diagnosed by symptom. Reading the model and where to find it
The rating plate is usually behind the storage or broiler drawer or on the oven door frame. Record the full model string before booking so the correct genuine OEM part is matched, and note the finish suffix that closes the number.
Choosing within the range line
The choice is fuel and cooktop: coil-electric ACR is the most economical, smoothtop AER offers a smooth glass surface that wipes clean, and gas AGR gives an open flame with Sealed Burners.
